Bravo! As a former senior military commander and senior Executive in the federal government, I found "Strength in the Quiet" applicable across an entire spectrum of occupations. It was easy to relate to the process of each daily devotional and put it in the context of leading soldiers and civilian employees under difficult and stressful times. The Scripture - Reflection - Action Step used by Mr. Robb prompts critical thinking to finding answers to difficult situations and during difficult times. More importantly, it demonstrates that one is not alone during these difficulties and that God truly gives one strength. Although it can serve as a useful tool for reflection when then the weight of the world is on the shoulders of senior leaders in the military, those in the private sector, and C Suite executives, it is beneficial to those who have the daunting task of leading one's family through tough times with faith and the opportunity to "reset" as Mr. Robb articulates. Mr. Robb truly captures, through both his corporate experience and faith, how to "slow down, hear God's voice again, and find fresh courage for the road ahead." "Strength in the Quiet" is a must read!
